Hi! 

My name is Emmy, and I am originally from London, UK, where I was born and raised. From a young age, I have nurtured a strong curiosity about the world, which has evolved into a deep passion for international travel and cultural exploration. Over the years, I have been fortunate to visit a number of countries, each of which has enriched my perspective in different ways. However, of all the places I’ve travelled to, Japan has always stood out as a particularly special destination for me, due to its blend of modern innovation and deep-rooted traditions. 

My profound interest in Japan, its culture, and language has driven me to seek out opportunities that allow me to connect more deeply with the country. I am thrilled to be starting this new journey as an intern at MizuTrans in Fukuoka, a role I secured through the support of Meiji Internships. This opportunity, which I consider a perfect alignment of my personal interests and professional goals in my career development.

At MizuTrans, I am eager to embrace the challenges and opportunities that come with working in an international setting. I am confident that the experience will not only enhance my skills in areas such as communication and teamwork, but will also enable me to make meaningful contributions to the company’s projects and overall mission. I am particularly looking forward to collaborating with and supporting my colleagues, learning from their expertise, and applying my own strengths to help achieve shared objectives.

Beyond the professional growth I anticipate, I am especially excited about the cultural immersion that comes with living and working in Japan. The opportunity to deepen my understanding of Japanese society, language, and customs is one that I value immensely. I am committed to improving my Japanese communication skills, both spoken and written. Additionally, I look forward to exploring more of Japan’s rich history, traditions, and the subtleties of everyday life that make it such a unique and captivating place.

I consider this internship not only as a chance to grow professionally but also as a gateway to personal enrichment. It is my goal to fully immerse myself in both the work and culture during my time with MizuTrans, and I am committed to contributing to the company’s success.
